right now i have meduim brown hair with a little bit of red in it

and i want to go blonde but i dont want to go to a salon and pay alot of money. is there away i could do it at home without making it orange or fried out

the red will never come out unless you cut it....bleaching it will make it orange then die it blonde

I would suggest going to a salon. You will be much happier with the results and it will last longer. I'm not a hair dresser but I would think that if you want blonde hair with your present and I presume natural brown hair, this should be a gradual process.

If you're young sweetie, leave that pretty brown hair alone. You'll spend money soon enough trying to cover the gray.
