I just bought Punky Colour by Jerome Russell today in Purple, but I'm wondering if I have to bleach my hair first to make the color look good. Im kind of afraid to bleach it, because I dont want to lose my natural color totally. My natural hair color is like a medium/darkish blonde. Help please.

I had streaks of purple in my medium blonde hair too but it didn't stay in too long, so I would reccomend bleaching it. If you're afraid of losing your natural color like you said, maybe you should just do the tips of your hair. that way, when you are done with the purple, you can just trim it off. hope i helped!

i have medium/dark brown hair and ive done purple. it looks good on dark hair but im not sure about lighter hair. it might just be a little bright on your hair. but not like neon lol.

Why would you want to mess up a good medium blond by staining it purple? Just a warning: my daughter tried that with a temporary dye only it turned out to be a permanent dye. There was heck to pay to reverse that.
