I have always wanted to fye my hair blonde. It was always blonde till i was about 13. My hair is a medium brown but has lots of natural blonde hairs through it. I am worried that by dying it, it might make my hair go an orangy colour or go too light

please help

It may not even show at all. I would snip a little locket of hair off the nape of the neck and tape one end together and do a test on that hair to see what effect it will have.

It MIGHT go gingery-orange, are you home dyeing or salon? if at hoem it proberly will go ginger but it may not, in a salon it is extremly unlikely, good luck and i hope it turns out a nice colour.

if you have "virgin hair" that's never been dyed I highly recommend using a reputable salon with a hairdresser that specializes in coloring. I say this because your hair is likely more porous right now then those of us with already dyed hair - your hair is really going to "drink up" whatever dye you use - and if you use low-end dye you may really fry your hair.

also, a professional is going to be best able to tell you what shade or blonde will work best based on your complexion and hairstyle.

going to a colorist is pricey - save your pennies.
