go to a hair dresser - there are home kits without bleach but they never seem to make mine the colour i want - it a;lways seems to be a bit reddish! Would def recommend going to get it done professionally especially the first few times as a good one will know what tone of blond would look best with your skin colour!

Yes, you can have that done. Products that are used to lighten hair will have a lifting ingredient and/or bleach to pull your natural color out, and lighten your hair. It will not go orange if you have it done by a good stylist that knows what they're doing. You don't have to go platinum blonde either; the stylist can always warm it up or darken it.

After you get it done, using professional salon products (shampoo/conditioners/stylers) will help to maintain or improve the health of your hair.

I would recommend a warm blonde color. you don't want anything real drastic. if your fair skinned, too bright of a blonde will make you look red. Plus sometimes people make blonde too bright and it just looks very superficial and fake.

i wouldn't suggest it...

i dyed my hair a really dark red colour, almost maroon and my hair went pretty orange no matter how many lighteners i used. eventually i just went to the hairdresser to have it fixed; luckily she felt bad for me because i had already spent so much on trying to get my hair to blonde that she gave me a discount. once you get it stripped by the hairdresser i suggest nice and easy hair colours... they have up to 50 different shades that will match your hair up exactly and give you subtle highlights at the same time... the root touch up also works fabulous in between dye jobs too! hope this helps :)
