i want it to look natural, i have fairly blonde hair already. i need to know.

how much to use.

how long to stay out for.

how long it will last with frequent washing.

any side effects

how much blonder will it make it. (i dont want it platinum)

and if the roots are bad and make it look dyed.

my hair naturally highlights a bit but i want it highlighted a bit more.

oh, and do i squeeze it on my whole head if i want to have just highlights?

-use as much as you need depending on the thickness of your hair. some people mix the lemon juice with water, but you don't need to.

-put lemon juice into a spray bottle (you can buy lemon juice, you dont have to squeeze 500 lemons)

-spray it everywhere on your DAMP hair and comb it through. make your hair coated evenly.

-stay outside in the sun until it dries, then i recommend washing your hair but you dont have to but it MAY be a bit sticky if you dont. but if its not sticky then you dont have to wash it.

-it wont come out if you wash your hair with frequent washing.

-no side effects (none that i experienced).

-it wont make it too much blonder, definetly not platinum with one use. you may not even notice until the first few times.

-and if you want "just highlights", put it just on the spots where you want it to be highlighted.

-ps. some more advice: dont get the lemon juice into your eyes! ouch it burns.

please please please don't use lemon juice! Jemon juice is an acid, ( der) and thus, it will dry out your hair. Go to your drug store instead. you can find sprays that do essentially the same thing, that will lighten it in the same way, have definite directions, and WONT kil lyour hair nearly a much.

i would only use a lil since u want it to look natural. Just do it as if you were highlighting it ya know. BUT u can neer be to sure about it you might just want to go get it done

I am about to do this and the way I am ging to do is: 1/3 juice and 2/3 water. enough amount to cover the whole hair. then after that stay in the sun for a while and wash it off. another thing you can do is after you have already washed your hair with shampoo and conditioner and etc. rinse it with the juice and leave it like that. the lemon juice makes hair shiny and it won't damage it. it will lighten it but not as much as if u expose it to sun. I don't know how long it takes.

Lemon juice gives you more natural highlights, it doesn't actually color. The longer you stay out in the sun the lighter it will be. It is not permanent.

Try sitting out in the sun for 15 minutes then wash it out.

It is a subtle change - you shouldn't have roots.
