If you've ever dyed your hair blonde...did you feel that you were treated differently than with

After bleaching your hair for the 1st time...did you feel that people treated you differently with blonde hair?

If you've ever dyed your hair blonde...did you feel that you were treated differently than with dark hair?

Over the years my hair has been every color of the rainbow and more (Red, blond, blue, purple, black, brown, burgundy, green, pink and combinations thereof) ... Whether it was 1/2 inch long and dyed in a red and blond checkerboard pattern or a green mohawk or my natural light brown... The way people treat me is and was based on the way I acted not my hair color..

If you've ever dyed your hair blonde...did you feel that you were treated differently than with dark hair?

I'm a natural blonde, but all through high school my hair was a red wine color. Then, just before senior prom, I dyed it to what I like to call 'incrediblonde,' a VERY bright, sunny blonde. I didn't really notice any differences, but then again I was around people who had known me all through school (for the most part) and either had nothing to say or liked the change.

In public, I didn't really notice much of a difference at all. I've gotten more looks/comments about my clothes than my blonde hair.

If you've ever dyed your hair blonde...did you feel that you were treated differently than with dark hair?

Yes dear, but I think that was because I really did look stupid, so I don't know if I should really be the one to help. No, really, it is a proven biological fact that lighter hair colors associate to youth and vitality ( also fertility). Yes, people will treat you different, especially if you are female, if you have blonde hair. Both men and women will pay more attention to you. Men, because of the obvious reason, and women, because they are genetically prone to respect other women who will be more attractive to men. The reason is truly phisilogical.

If you've ever dyed your hair blonde...did you feel that you were treated differently than with dark hair?

I did this when I was about 15 and I thought I was treated differently. I went through a stage of wanting to wear a ball cap and tucking my tzit-tzit etc. I looked very non-Jewish and I thought I was treated a little bit more kindly but perhaps it is in my head. My hair is naturally black

Like I said, I was interested in reactions and looking for them so I may have been reading more into things than were really there plus I was in that stage of teenage rebellion "I don't want to be Jewish anymore" and may have been using what I thought I saw to bolster that viewpoint.

If you've ever dyed your hair blonde...did you feel that you were treated differently than with dark hair?

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and &qu

What's the adaptive function of all that stuff? Like havin' blue eyes, or blonde hair.. etc .etc. etc. ? I want to know all that stuff! Why asians have eyes like they do? Why are whites whites and blacks blacks? Thanks a lot

Sorry if i did ortographical mistakes.... english is not my native language! U don't have to give a big a** answer... nor u have to be correct! just give ur opinion or somethin'

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

The evolution of different skin pigments is recent, within the last 20,000 years, and is region specific. People in cold northern climes that didn't get sun wound up with light skin and light hair. People in the tropics wound up with dark skin and dark hair to protect themselves from the sun.

There is almost no genetic difference between people with different skin pigments. It's all pretty superficial. Darker skin is advantageous in sunny places, it prevents you from getting skin cancer as easily as someone with light skin.

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

Black people came from people that were constantly in the sun.as time passed their skin darkened to adapt to it.white people i think have not been in the hot tempature long enuff to adapt.

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

well befor the world was one continet and every race was one wen the conteints broke apart people adapted and changed in many ways

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

The answer is here: http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles...

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

well the best answer to your ? is another ? why is the sky blue? why is there a day and a night? no one knows skin color and all of our differences could just be test from God to see who all can see past these and who can't...

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

There are more than a few things which cause different traits in people. Diet, average sunlight, temperature and ancestory all factor in. People who have lived in Norway for thousands of years don't have the protective color needed by people from India, Africa and so on. Also, it is wise not to oversimplify things!! For instance, most people think Black people are most likely to have sickle cell anemia. But Blacks from south Africa have it less often than Whites around the Mediterranean. The reason is, people whose ancestors had to fight off malaria for many generations often get that anemia as a side-effect of their resistance.

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

I don't believe in evolution, so I have a very different answer from most - that is admittedly simplistic. I believe that we were all created by God and that He loves diversity. If you look at all life on earth there is wonderful diversity - it would be very strange - given the pattern of other types of life - if all human beings had the same characteristics.

We take those characteristics however and attach all kinds of things to them that don't make sense. We say that blonde hair is good and black hair is bad for example. In actuality none of it is bad because God created it all.

I think that your english actually is pretty good. I'm thinking that someone here should be able to explain the DNA portion of it - like what genes control skin color for example.

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

for the christians it says somewhere in the bible that god took people that were similar in looks like blonde hair blue eyes or jews or blacks and separated them to different countries across world i also heard people were banished for sins like the sin they committed determined their looks and where they lived i am not sure which is accurate of bible but the real reason is skin color/ hair color is based on where they are from example in africa it is hot and the darker you are the better the sun is deflected off your skin colder places like germany you would tend to have lighter skin/ hair does this help?

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

I dont know of any adaptive function of blue eyes nor blond hair. I have heard "slanted' eyes are protect eyes from wind.

How and Why did blonde hair, or blue eyes originated? Why are there "white" people and "black" people?

natural selection and adaptation to their enviroment.

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blond

I have brown hair and I know I have to bleach it because I am going up more than three shades. Once I bleach it, I know it will be the ugly orange color. Can I put the shade of blonde I want over the ugly orange to be the blonde I want?

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

when you bleach your hair start at the end of the hair and leave the scalp last. you can leave most bleaches on for an hour. if your hair is dark you might need 2 applications. but if you havent died your hair yet , go to a professional and then touch up your own roots. thats what i did. good luck

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

Just got three words to say...

DON'T DO IT!

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

That could be because you didnt use a strong enough volume, like, i say, use 40. i mean, youre going to harm it anyways. thats what i use, and my hair is fine to me. Or, leave it in longer, do it more than once. Also...toner,toner,toner. It is usually of violet tinge colour, and can get it most beuty places. It gets rid of some bronzey colours in blonde hair. Or, youoculd go to a salon..where they will get it to the blonde you want.

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

you are going to ruin your hair. why not just add simple highlights so that you can maintain the natural color and healthiness while adding the color in a more natural state to your hair?

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

Well the blonde is actually a lite color. So you would only have to bleach it the once but be careful cuz bleach works very fast and your hair might turn out really white. The best thing to do is to bleach it but go a little darker on your shade of blonde because you are adding it to a white it will turn out the shade you want. Just be careful on the color you choose and how the long the bleach stays it.

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

No, you will want to use a white toner (such as Manic Panic's Virgin Snow) to remove the brassiness (orange) hues from your hair. Then you should be able to dye it blonde (although it still may not come out to the exact shade you are hoping for)

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

it COULD make it pale blonde but then it would fade if you dont use color shampoo and cond....... but if you want it 2 turn out the way you want it y dont you just BUY the color you want?!?!?

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

Using a higher volume of peroxide means you'll get severley damaged hair BEFORE you get the result you want.Use a 20 volume peroxide with your bleach leave for about 30 minutes, wash it off and reapply it.You will then have to use a toner to get the blonde you want.

If your hair is yellow use a violet toner

If your hair is orange use a blue toner

BEST BET IS TO GO TO SALON

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

No....go to a professional and run!...Fast..Good Luck AriP

If I bleach my hair to the ugly orange color, can I put a blonde hair dye on it to be the pale blonde I want?

NO! You will have to bleach (lighten or strip) your hair 2 times to go blond enough. Then you can add the color you want. If you really want a specific color shade go to a pro. If you have to do it your self. Get a lightener that will go 3, 5 or 7 shades in one use. It will depend on how brown your hair is and the shade you want. Do a strand test to see if you need to do it 2 times or not. Do a patch test to see if you are allergic to it. If you have long hair you will need more than 1 box of lightener for each go and more than 1 box of color. My waist length hair needs 5 boxs of lightener each time that is a total of 10 boxs of lilghtener then 5 boxs of color. It can be cheaper to go to a pro.

If you still have to do it at home bleach it on a friday wash with ph balanced shampoo then bleach again saturday then shampoo then add color on sunday. Good luck

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

i want it to look natural, i have fairly blonde hair already. i need to know.

how much to use.

how long to stay out for.

how long it will last with frequent washing.

any side effects

how much blonder will it make it. (i dont want it platinum)

and if the roots are bad and make it look dyed.

my hair naturally highlights a bit but i want it highlighted a bit more.

oh, and do i squeeze it on my whole head if i want to have just highlights?

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

-use as much as you need depending on the thickness of your hair. some people mix the lemon juice with water, but you don't need to.

-put lemon juice into a spray bottle (you can buy lemon juice, you dont have to squeeze 500 lemons)

-spray it everywhere on your DAMP hair and comb it through. make your hair coated evenly.

-stay outside in the sun until it dries, then i recommend washing your hair but you dont have to but it MAY be a bit sticky if you dont. but if its not sticky then you dont have to wash it.

-it wont come out if you wash your hair with frequent washing.

-no side effects (none that i experienced).

-it wont make it too much blonder, definetly not platinum with one use. you may not even notice until the first few times.

-and if you want "just highlights", put it just on the spots where you want it to be highlighted.

-ps. some more advice: dont get the lemon juice into your eyes! ouch it burns.

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

just go to a salon its much easier.

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

I don't even know if that's possible to use a lemon!

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

Get a spray bottle and spray it on before you go out in the sun. The two together will lighten your hair, and safetly.

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

please please please don't use lemon juice! Jemon juice is an acid, ( der) and thus, it will dry out your hair. Go to your drug store instead. you can find sprays that do essentially the same thing, that will lighten it in the same way, have definite directions, and WONT kil lyour hair nearly a much.

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

i would only use a lil since u want it to look natural. Just do it as if you were highlighting it ya know. BUT u can neer be to sure about it you might just want to go get it done

love, olivia

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

I am about to do this and the way I am ging to do is: 1/3 juice and 2/3 water. enough amount to cover the whole hair. then after that stay in the sun for a while and wash it off. another thing you can do is after you have already washed your hair with shampoo and conditioner and etc. rinse it with the juice and leave it like that. the lemon juice makes hair shiny and it won't damage it. it will lighten it but not as much as if u expose it to sun. I don't know how long it takes.

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

Lemon juice gives you more natural highlights, it doesn't actually color. The longer you stay out in the sun the lighter it will be. It is not permanent.

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

it just brings out the color u should do it every week and you dont see roots and the side affects r naturally beautiful hair

How do i dye by blonde hair blonder using lemon juice.?

Just where you want for highlights.

Try sitting out in the sun for 15 minutes then wash it out.

It is a subtle change - you shouldn't have roots.

(Leave on longer for more color change)

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

I know there is controversy between that if he had that hair color or not did he have brown or blonde hair?

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

Most likely brown or black due to the physical characteristics of the people of the region and time in which He was born.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

middle east blond hair? wtf?

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

dark hair

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

Considering the region of the world He came from, Jesus almost certainly had dark hair.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

He was a natural brunette, but sometimes he'd go to the salon for a shot of color to sass things up a bit.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

I'd say brown or black. He was of middle eastern ethnicity, so he probably had darker/ olive skin.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

The photos I've seen of him are so old and faded, it's really hard to tell. Anyone have some more recent pics?

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

He had black curly hair, or its a wig, who knows?

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

No, there's really not a controversy about His hair color. Jesus was a Jew - dark hair, dark eyes.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

How many Israelis have you met with blond hair? And that's THESE days. Back then with hardly any intermarriage.....think about it.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

What difference does it make!

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

YAHSHUA(JESUS) had a black hair, because HE was a middle east youth. so most problably he should have had black hair.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

Who really cares? What makes Jesus Jesus is what he did, not what he looked like.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

probably brown, but what does that matter?

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

Most probably dark brown or black hair as most middle east people of His time. Paintings of Jesus with blond hair and./or blue eyes comes from european painters centuries after who used european models and not jew models for their inspirations.

Did Jesus have brown or blonde hair?

He's a character in a book

You decide what color his hair is

How do i make my hair go back to a nicer blonde(less brassy yellow orange)??

I had really nice natural blonde hair up until a few days ago when i stupidly decided i would take that extra step and go full out bright blonde. I wanted more of a whiteish blonde allover highlight type deal but my hairdresser gave me yellowy orange. It looks extreamly fake/gross and doesnt suit me. How do i turn this into what i originally wanted (just a lighter shade of blonde) Can you fade bleach or do i have to dye it again? Would putting sun in on it help turn it more white?

PLEASE help!

How do i make my hair go back to a nicer blonde(less brassy yellow orange)??

If you wanted a pale *icy* kind of blonde then you need to use hair colors with the word ash or beige in the name. Basically you need hair colors with COOL tones. Your hair right now has too much warm tones in it (red orange), so get a hair color that describes itself as cool (most boxes will tell you if its a warm or cool shade in its description or next to the shade chart) because it will neutralize the warm tones, thus removing them and leaving you with the color of blonde you want. Don't worry it's pretty easy to fix.

How do i make my hair go back to a nicer blonde(less brassy yellow orange)??

Yeah, that look was out a long time ago. Shave it off and start over.

How do i make my hair go back to a nicer blonde(less brassy yellow orange)??

yes, there's a product that works like a toner! it's supposed to take away the orage/red of badly blond dye jobs. YOu should ask your hair dresser soon, I don't know how long after coloring your hair the toner will still work. It's basically a green/grey based solution that tones down the orange in your hair.

How do i make my hair go back to a nicer blonde(less brassy yellow orange)??

Your hair probably turned the "yellowy orange" color because the hair dresser didn't keep the dye on long enough. You cannot fade bleach it - this would do a lot of damage to your hair. Depending on your hair type and color you either have to strip the recently applied color and re-dye your hair or simply re-dye it on top of the color you want to cover up. If I were you, I would go back to the hair dresser and ask her to re-dye it free of charge.

How do i make my hair go back to a nicer blonde(less brassy yellow orange)??

go supersaiyan! hiya! and then fight monsters in the mountains to get it a little dirt for some brown.

How do i make my hair go back to a nicer blonde(less brassy yellow orange)??

DO NOT PUT SUN IN ON YOUR HAIR!!! Check out my pics on my 360 profile my hair is almost white (i had to go through the yucky yellow stage) Tell your hairdresser to try CHi Infra Color in GB thats what I use and you will get the white blonde shade. And every week I shampoo with Shimmer Lights a purple shampoo to tone out all the yellow that my hair picks up from water, smoke, etc.

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

I have blonde hair and i love it! But it is turning dark. How can i keep it blonde w/o dyeing it? I can only use natural things. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

Chamomile tea should do it.

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

lemon juice might help

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

Try usuing a shampoo and conditioner made for blondes. They have tons of selection at drug stores and it should bring out the blonde in you're hair. Also you could try a leave in conditioner made for blondes if you can find one. There are also sprays that you can stick in your and make it gradually turn lighter.

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

dye it blonde every week

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

Normally your hair darkens the older you get. You can use lemon juice and go sit in the sun, but your hair will feel like crap when you are finished!

Natural products used to lighten hair are not that strong and will only lighten a shade or two. Ask the salons around your area to help you find a color line that is for people who are allergic to color.

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

lemon juice and then lay out in the sun to let it dry when it gets wet.

LOTS OF SUN

How do I keep my hair blonde?!?

Not sure how natural this is, but using hydrogen peroxide works great! It lightens up your hair really well.
