Yes you can pull it off....you have a face for blond hair......however going blond is a commitment....I did it and after a few months got sick of constantly having to do my roots so as not to look fake.....so be prepared for maintenance...also after I went back dark I was told by many friends that my Dark hair looks more like me and that my color (skin) looked healthier that blond washed me out.......Halloween is right around the corner go to a store and try on a blond wig and see for yourself if you like the changes...

then use a pinkish powder and put it on the outer corners of ur lids and spread out a little

then a royal blue powder or liner and trace along ur lashline.

it is a really wintery look and its really glam if u add glittery stuff on top.

oh i have the same problem, i have blonde hair and blue eyes. but i wear no make up and guys find me attracive. but ifu really like make up than, i heard that black eyeliner, and brown mascara do the trick. but if u like wearing eyeshadow, wear eyeshawdow that matches ur skin colour and gives u a natural look. cause u dont wonna wear colourful eyeshadow and look like a clown:P

you can also wear black mascara- put a bit more on he top than u do on the bottom, and use some black eyeliner-only on the top lid, and not to much.:D

it depends on how light you want yopur highlights.

hair color is in levels. i am guessing you are a 5 or 6. Each level of developer will lift one level. so if you want them subtle, use 10. AND CHECK IT LIKE EVERY 2 MINUTES!!!!!!

I would reccomend 20 volume. And you can add a little heat too. just enough to warm them up. not to bake them!

and check them often, but it will appear darker on your hair.

If its long enough, another thing you can do without a hair tie is tie your hair in a knot, so it looks like a short pony tail in the back.

I also like to twist it into a bun and stick a pencil through it.

i would recommend a honey or buttery blonde shade. If you go too orange-ish, it will clash with your skin tone. If you go too platinum it will make you look way washed out. If you keep it yellow or gold toned, it will look great with your tanned skin. I would not advise doing this on your own; lifting hair to blonde is difficult and many times unpredictable. There are so many ways to mess it up, so I would advise seeing a professional on this one. Make sure when you go in you bring pictures of blonde shades you like. Jessica simpsons hair is a great color, very balanced but not too dark. Also, Jennifer anistons hair is a great example if you are going for the honey shades. Also, if you can, write a list of all the things you have done to your hair. This will help your stylist decide which formula will give you the best results閳?for example:

1. dyed hair dark brown in june 2006 (Clairol color)

2. used a do it yourself hair straightener in july 2006

Then I got tired of it, and wanted to go back to dark blonde, but first I had to dye it medium brown, then a few months later a lighter shade of brown with blond highlights, and I'm progressively heading towards blond again. I would be careful about dying it yourself, especially right after going into the salon (because right now your hair is really fragile and also will not take color as well...)

If you wanted the hairstylist to do something other than she did, I think you should go back and tell him/her that you did not receive the color/style you wanted. Most reputable hairstylists will help you fix what is wrong and get the color/style you want for free if they did not deliver the first time.

As you already have a blonde shade , you can use a low level developer (less damaging, a 40 lift developer should do just fine for you) and be sure to add at least one tube of RGC (red gold corrector) to insure that all traces of red tones will be eliminated and you will have that translucent/platinum look you desire.

It's your hair, I say go for it. I was a blonde for 28 years, then started dying it shades of red and brown, it looked good. It just depends on your skin tone.

It will be different looking at yourself in the mirror until you get used to it. The best thing would be to do a patch test like on the underside of your hair to test the color and see if you like it before you do your whole head. :)

if you are serious, dye it a reddish color first and the a light brown over the red and with conditon being applied threw all this dying you will have a pretty color. now let the red stay in about 3 wks to 4 wks and then the light brown, then med the dark ( the fun will be pretty) or go to the beauty shop

I'm a natural level 7 ash blond (pretty blond) and I switch from blond to red and back every now and then. Red fades very easily. The darkest I've dyed it is a very dark auburn. It eventually faded to a strawberry blond. I then had it bleached back to a blond. After a while I could match my roots and go natural.

Good color depends on skin tone. Going brown is safe. I suggest going to a professional. If you're worried, go try on wigs for fun. Just beware of black (it's hard to remove). If you hate the color it gets dyed you can always get it fixed. It's just hair, it's not permanent!

If you're going from a dark brown to a light blond I would defiantly go to a salon. I've always had issues with getting my hair even when I went from dark to light. It's also the easier way of ruining your hair if you do it wrong. It's worth the extra money to get it professionally done!

I have naturally dark brown hair but as a kid I had almost blonde hair so I am hopeing to go back to that soon. If I were you, i would do a purple sparkle eyeshadow. Just the sparkles that shimmer in purple. And i would wear the mascara that has the white first then the black, because it lengthens and thickens, and I have blue eyes to, and it really seems to outline your eyes and make them pop =] And maybe just a skin colored foundation. And for your lips, id go with a very subtle light pink lipstick just to add a bit of color to your lips, and then to go over it with a gloss, =] I went to the semi formal a couple days ago, and i wore a red dress and did almost the same but just natural glitter. =]

Eye Shadows

1. Use lighter shades to highlight under the brow,

2. Use darker shades on the lid and the crease of the eye.

3. If You want to apply light shades (e.g., blue, beige, light green, light gray etc.), first draw a thin line with liquid eye liner or sharp eye pencil over the upper lash line as close to it as possible (because light shades makes your eyes seems smaller than they are).

Mascara

1. Use black mascara (it suits better to any shadows).

2. If you prefer blue or brown mascara, for best result, draw a thin line with same color liquid eyeliner or sharp eye pencil over the upper lash line as close to it as possible or just apply same color (like mascara) shadows.

3. If you have short lashes, use lengthening mascara.

4. If you have thin lashes, use voluptuous mascara.

5. If you have sensitive eyes, use gentle mascara for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

6. Waterproof mascara is best choice in monsoon, or when your eyes are watering (for example when you have a cold).

Some useful tips

For brown and black eyes: All shades of brown, beige, gray shadows and black or brown mascara looks wonderful. Lilac, violet shadows are very nice. Also, especially in combination with same color dress.

For green and brown - green eyes: Use all shades of green, beige, light - brown shadows and black mascara. Avoid pink or brown shadows.

For gray and blue eyes: Use all shades of blue, gray, dark - blue, beige shadows and black or blue mascara.

For Deep-Set Eyes: Rely on pale, shimmery shades to enhance your eyes. Sweep a light eye shadow shade across lid from inner corner to a small bit beyond the outer corner. Place a touch of a deeper shade in the eye crease. Blend.

For Wide-Set Eyes: Make them appear closer by applying a deeper eye shadow shade from inner corner to mid-lid. Apply a lighter shade from mid-lid to outer corner. Blend in the middle of lid where shades meet.

For Close-Set Eyes: Make them appear wider by applying a dot of concealer to the innermost corner of both eyes. Create a very thin pencil line near lash edge of top lid that thickens toward the outer corner. Create a very thin eye shadow in a pale shade from inner corner to mid-lid; apply a just-slightly deeper shade from mid-lid to outer corner; blend in the middle.

Often people with darker hair have this problem or with strong golden undertones. Ask your cosmetologist for a lavender/purple base to be added to the color. It cancels out the brassy/golden hues. *they must know what they are doing or you will end up with "blue hair". But adding a bit of the P base WILL take out the yellow-ness.

If your hair is naturally blond you should just use a warm brown, always choose a shade lighter than what you are wanting b/c over the counter usually go darker than what it shows. If you have hilighted or colored blond hair you definately need something with a gold base so that the hair doesn't go ash.

I had blonde hair and I dyed it an golden brown, wrong thing to do, my hair was red! I called my stylist and she said I needed ash instead of golden, and she told me that my hair was strong enough to dye it again the next day So I had to go and dye it with an ash brown, and its a great color now! so as long as you dont use anything that says golden in it you should be fine. hope this helps you out
